One of our key priorities is to be able to give back to the sector we love to be part of.
Fareshare.
We want to make a positive impact on the communities we work with. So, for every placement we make, we pledge to donate 200 meals to people in need. We work with charity partners like Fareshare via Work For Good to make a real difference and give back to the community. Fareshare is the UK's largest charity fighting hunger and food waste.
They take good-quality surplus food from right across the food industry. Every week, they redistribute this and provide enough food to create almost a million meals for vulnerable people.
Bread and Butter Thing.
We have also been volunteering with The Bread and Butter Thing and continue to support their great work. This is a community-led charity based in the North of England. Their purpose is twofold - to reduce poverty premiums that families in low-income areas can face and to work in partnership with supermarkets, factories and farms to redistribute surplus food.
