Overview: Our client is seeking an Interim Hygiene Manager; they are an ambitious Food Manufacturing business going through a period of growth, for 3-6 months. 

Key Responsibilities:
•    Planning the work of the on-site hygiene staff to drive continual improvements in hygiene standards
•    Develop and audit hygiene schedules and work instructions to ensure all inspections and certification audits are passed
•    Assume overall responsibility for the safety of self and staff whilst at work, ensuring that all requirements as laid down within the company handbook, company’s health and safety policy are implemented, monitored, and maintained
•    Ensure that all team members are suitably trained, understand their objectives, standards required, are reliable and punctual in their attendance and are motivated to the job

Requirements:
•    Solid experience in a hygiene role within the food manufacturing or food processing industry
•    Multi-site experience is desirable
•    Proven experience in leading and managing hygiene teams
•    Strong understanding and experience with food safety standards and regulations, such as HACCP and other relevant food safety certification programs 

The Offering:
Day Rate, dependant on experience, plus expenses.
