Location: East Midlands with some travel.
Overview: This is an opportunity to join a global, multi-site food manufacturing business in a newly created senior leadership role. As Head of Supply Chain, you will play an important part in shaping and delivering the end-to-end supply chain strategy, driving performance, resilience and continuous improvement across the organisation. The role offers genuine influence, visibility at senior level and the chance to leave a lasting impact on a growing business.

About You:
• You will have experience working as a Senior Supply Chain Manager/Supply Chain Controller or Head of Supply Chain within the UK food manufacturing or FMCG industry.
• Experience of managing and developing cross-functional teams across multiple disciplines is essential.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain experience, covering supply and demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution.
• As Head of Supply Chain, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering tangible improvements in service, cost, efficiency and performance.
• Experience of ERP systems, with the ability to use data and insight to support decision-making and drive change.
• A confident, engaging leader with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across the business.

What will you be doing?
• Manage and lead the entire supply chain function from end to end across 2 sites.
• Develop, coach and inspire teams, creating a high-performance culture with clear accountability and development pathways.
• As Head of Supply Chain, you will work closely with sales, finance and operations to deliver accurate forecasting, planning and demand management.
• Oversee transport, warehousing and delivery operations to ensure best-in-class on time in full (OTIF) performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce cost and improve service levels.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, traceability, legal and customer standards across the supply chain.

Reporting into the Planning & Logistics Manager, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the right stock is available at the right time, supporting factory performance, minimising waste, and maintaining product freshness.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong raw material planning experience who thrives on ownership, collaboration and continuous improvement within a forward-thinking supply chain team. About you…• Previous experience as a Supply Chain Co-ordinator or similar within a Food Manufacturing or FMCG environment.• Strong understanding of demand planning and stock management processes.• Confident liaising with suppliers and building effective working relationships.• Experience managing imports and working with external agents is advantageous.• High level of computer literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.• As Supply Chain Co-ordinator, experience with Dynamics Nav and/or Power BI would be desirable.• Proactive, solutions-focused and confident leading investigations and root cause analysis.
